Arrival Osaka
Arrival at Kansai International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Osaka.
Osaka to Tanabe
Train to Tanabe. Visit the Kumano Kodo Heritage Center. Overnight in Kii-Tanabe.
Takijiri-oji to Takahara (Trek)
Bus to Takijiri-oji. Trek 4 km to Takahara (gentle introduction). Overnight in a minshuku.
Takahara to Chikatsuyu
Trek 10 km through forests and villages. Arrive at Chikatsuyu. Overnight.
Chikatsuyu to Kumano Hongu
Trek 15 km. Visit Kumano Hongu Taisha. Soak in Yunomine Onsen.
Kumano Hongu to Nachi
Bus to Nachi. Visit Kumano Nachi Taisha and Nachi Falls. Overnight in Katsuura.
Departure
Train back to Osaka. Depart from Kansai International Airport.
