Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Darjeeling
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP. Drive to Darjeeling (3-4 hours). Check into hotel. Evening at leisure on Mall Road.
Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning drive to Tiger Hill for sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Afternoon Toy Train ride (joy ride). Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park.
Darjeeling to Gangtok
Scenic drive to Gangtok (4-5 hours). Check into hotel. Evening explore MG Marg.
Gangtok Sightseeing
Visit Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and Flower Show. Evening optional cultural show.
Tsomgo Lake & Nathula Pass
Full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Nathula Pass (14,140 ft, subject to permit availability). Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple.
Gangtok to Darjeeling
Drive back to Darjeeling. Free time for shopping. Farewell dinner.
Departure
